My name is Eero Karppa and I'm an aspiring writer making a career change. The decision to choose writing was born from a book I started in 2023, and now in 2026 it's well underway! I've also begun adapting the book into a screenplay because as much as I like writing, I think seeing a story on film is the ultimate finale. The forced transition away from physical work began with a workplace injury many years ago that required surgery to repair. Unfortunately the surgery led to further complications and finally the realization that healing wasn't going to happen. This website is intended to launch my new career in writing and hopefully co-director someday.

My love of boats began at an early age in Finland, and that love led to my first career at a boat manufacturing company in Sidney B.C.
